Booking Information

Sons of Korah are available for booking. Because we have very limited time we cannot do everything but it is our desire to work with those who feel they can make a good event happen. For obvious reasons a booking fee may apply depending on the situation (in addition to travel costs etc). For things at home in Australia we are much more flexible and can often fit things in alot easier just because it is closer. For stuff beyond Australia, we have to have either one major event that can cover our costs or a cluster of bookings that can together justify a whole trip. If your church or organisation is formally interested in hosting a Sons of Korah event, send us an email with your details and information about your church or organisation and we can keep you on file and notify you when we are able to do something in your area.

Sons of Korah is a ministry of the Word. We like to think of our music as a tool to enable people to connect in a fresh way with scripture. We use music to interpret the psalms but we also like to fit the psalms into a broader biblical ‘story’ which we weave throughout the performance. Our material is not primarily intended for audience participation (as for example with a 'worship band') but rather for a dynamic presentation of the psalms (though we do invite some participation at times). Our desire whenever we play is to take our audience for a journey through the Psalms and thus into the heart of biblical spirituality. We want to enable people to feel the emotional weight of a world of truth that often remains abstract in our minds. It is important that wherever we perform we are able to do what feel called to do and therefore we would ask those interested in booking us to make themselves familiar with our material. Most of what we do is are concerts but we often play at church services and conferences.

Any organisation wishing to host Sons of Korah should be aware that we have certain venue and sound requirements. These can be flexible but are generally prerequisite to enabling a performance event to work. We do not travel with our own PA rig or drum kit (for logistical reasons). A 'Technical Performance Rider' can be made available on request.
